Alaa Kamaz is a Lebanese entrepreneur and the CEO of AKGROUP LTD s.a.r.l. He began his career in insurance and risk management, then expanded into multiple sectors including insurance and reinsurance, marine shipping, vessel ownership, real estate development, and the food and beverage industry.
His business approach is based on strategic networking, market opportunity, diversification, and resilience during challenging economic conditions. He has built and sustained operations across Lebanon, the UAE, KSA and Egypt — and remains a consistent advocate for the untapped business potential of Tripoli and North Lebanon.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Alaa serves as a partner at Marea Ship Chartering LLC in the UAE and works as an active consultant in insurance, healthcare schemes, marine operations, real estate development and F&B investment.
